Once a meter has been installed for at least 24 hours, usage data will begin appearing in the Web App.
Usage can be viewed at both the property level and the unit level, and reports can be exported for billing or recordkeeping.
Note:
- Tenants do not have access to the SimpleSUB Water web app and cannot view usage reports directly.
- Usage reports can be accessed and exported by the account owner. If a tenant needs usage information, the account owner can provide usage reports when sending bills or export usage data for a specific period and share it with the tenant.
Viewing Usage at the Property Level
- From the home screen or left-hand navigation panel, click the property name.
- Select the Usage tab.
From here, you can:
- Customize the date range you want to view, or
- Use the arrow controls to move month by month.
Hover over a specific day on the usage chart to see the total number of gallons used for that day.
Property-level usage reports can be exported to a spreadsheet, showing a breakdown of usage across all units.
Viewing Usage at the Unit Level
- Under the property, click an individual unit from the left-hand panel.
You can adjust dates the same way as at the property level or navigate by month.
Unit-level exports will include data only for the selected unit.
Usage reports must be exported manually. At this time, the web app does not support automatically emailing exported spreadsheets to your account.
Updating a Property Time Zone
If you need to update the time zone for your property:
- Click the property name from the home screen or left-hand navigation panel.
- Locate the property address.
- Click the pencil icon next to the property address.
- Update the property's time zone and save your changes.
